Hey guys, I started my tulpa creation about a week ago. And I must say, I am progressing nicely. But sometimes I will be occupied by my family and work, and she does feel lonely, I've asked her about this. Is there anything I can do so that she doesn't feel lonely when I can't talk to her?
Today I have begun the process of making a tulpa. I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on the creation process. Right now, I have a basic idea of the personality and form of my tulpa. Neither of these are particularly fleshed out though, and my hope was, specifically in regards to the form, that my tulpa and I could flesh them out some more together after they’ve gained sentience. Is that a viable approach?
For now, I’ve begun practicing passive forcing the best I can, along with a bit of active forcing when I have time. This has mostly entailed simply speaking to my tulpa in my mind, addressing them by name, describing them to themselves while visualizing them, introducing myself, talking about how excited I am to meet them, etc. I have been parroting/puppetting occasionally, but I plan on doing that to a lesser extent.
My next question: at what point should I start “listening” for a response back? Like should I already start asking questions and waiting for a response back in silence? Or is it too early to do that?
You can listen for a response as soon as you want
In fact, i'd encourage it
I got a response within seconds of talking to eishi and momo, so i'd say there's no time that's too soon

Also, fleshing out your tulpa more as you go along / after they gain sentience is def a viable approach

Host is "a tulpa" and the tulpa is "the host" (not in roles or identity, but y'know.. state?)(edited)

Within seconds? Do you think you are just naturally good at this? If it was that easy for everyone I would think people would accidentally create tulpas all the time.
My experience: I grew up Christian (I no longer am), and until I was 18 I would very often pray to God, I’d speak to him like he was right next to me. I had a distinct mental image of how I envisioned God (I can still conjure this image in my mind quite clearly), and I would desperately hope for any sort of response in my mind, but I never received even a hint of one. I feel like what I’m trying to do now is similar to that, except instead of trying to talk to god I’m just trying to talk to my tulpa. I find it quite difficult(edited)

I never had imaginary friends as a kid, and a I wouldn’t call myself a particularly imaginative person sadly, so that’s really my only experience with all this haha

try understanding that the response will come from your brain? Perhaps parroting may help in your case.

With regards to the form, have a vague figure in mind, but not too certain, since your tulpa will want to flesh out the details themselves. That was what worked for us - a vague form until desires for detail arise naturally as part of development.
It depends on your tulpa's personality whether their responses will be fast or slow. It could be fast but nonverbal until it becomes fast and verbal (my case) or any combination really. You'll be able to tell with time and understanding of their developing personality.
Does anyone have any tips to help my tulpas be more active? They're more.. quiet? Than they used to be
And i sorta liked when they would pop in more often
They still talk to me when i talk to them, and they switch in sometimes, but they don't randomly pop in as much or say things like they used to
For us, we kind of just call out to each other whenever we feel like, and then go from there.

Generally, that gets us to respond quickly, and then keeping them in front requires doing something they have an interest in, or can busy themselves with
Yeah, certain people in our system become more active when we’re doing things they like. Chihiro is more active when we’re playing minecraft for instance
Makes sense
Maybe the reason they used to be more active was cuz they were more excited
11:28 PM
I have found they become active if something interests them
So that's nice
I guss they're just settling in though
